hd helmets
Does anyone know who makes hds helmets.I was in the dealer yesterday and tried on a HDmodular and full face and they both felt better than others I have tried.Just curious who makes them and would still be as good as hds. I iknow they would be cheaper too. thanks

HD has a Black modular helment with silver flames. It has a quick release buckle. Its DOT rated. I have one I like the heck out of. If you look inside this helment it has the works AVG 5047. Its made by AVG for Harley Davidson. The inside has a removable liner you can clean. I only wear quick release, No D rings here. I think the helments are in Drag Specialites book also. I've gotten face shields from them through the distrubitors.

I recently bought the FXRG HJC carbon kevlar full face. Holy crap! Super light. Winter helmet only, but if you gotta' wear a full face carbon kevlar is light weight.

I believe CSI is correct, HJC makes a large percentage of the HD helmets.
