Tied on the HD Visionary 3/4 helmet, it fit really well. Anyone know what brand it is? I can most likely buy for way less without the Harley logos. Sent from my iPhone using IB AutoGroup

I think HJC makes a lot of them but I am sure they just but them out for bids and who ever wins makes them , and they may be a HD design made by someone else

Carefully peel back the liner to see - my HD half has a sticker with the letters "KBC" on it. No idea who that is, besides KBC...I buy a new one every 5 or 6 years because they fit better on my head than any other helmet I have tried. They are ridiculously over priced though so I really need to find something else that fits as well.

The HD website usually names the manufacturer of each helmet. There are a few. HJC and others.

I know for a fact that HJC has made them for Harley in the past. Particularly their modular units. I'm not sure if they might not have a couple of different helmet mfgs. putting them out with HD logo.

I am not exact on this, but their popular 3/4 helmet with pulldown shade is made by HJC model IS-33. I think. They are avail on web sites for around $120

I was curious myself and found this, from this forums. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...helmets-2.html
HJC, KBC, HBC are mentioned but it's an old thread.

Don't mean to step on any thin-skinned toes, but these are fairly low-end helmet manufacturers. They produce helmets, but not for anyone really serious about protection. It looks like they have found their niche with HD. But, what should we expect with HD's ravenous appetite for profit over function?

HJC seems to it. If you shop right Hd dealer about the same price.
Had the HD one on last year it saved my head and help 1000 pound of Harley up from cursing it.
