I took the wife on a run last weekend from Orange County to Blythe, CA. From there we went to Yuma, AZ on SH78. Nice day of riding. A bit windy, but not bad. The next morning we rode from Yuma to San Diego via I-8. It was cold, even with full leathers and gloves. Wife said that was her last run until it warms up again. From San Diego we headed back to Orange County. 611 miles total.
I could do that run every weekend. Love the desert.
