The problem with the good old day is twofold. One is that the good old days often weren't as good as people like to remember. The other is that the good old days were at an absolute peak and therefore do not represent a greater continuum of the past. When Harely experienced excessive demand for their relatively limited product, it was an abnormal situation and one that no one, especially HD management, should look back to as some type of 'normal' situation or one that should necessarilyever be attainable again. Insead, they need to measure the world in whichthey arenow selling and market their vehicles accordingly. Just my $.02.
