hello. i tried doig a search but could not find anything.either that or i ran out of patience.
i've got an 03 dyn l/r and want to put 8" rise drag bars on it. i was wondering if anyone has done this and did you have to lengthen the wires or cables. i've tried to ask the stealer but they said that thier street slammers would work and wouldn't say anything else.help me out. thanks.jay.
I used to have a superglide and I switched from the stock bars to 6" straight risers and drags off of a night train. It was a simple bolt on job. It was a stretch, though. I don't think I could have gone much higher without having to switch out the cables.
thanks but they're differeent bikes.the l/r has a longer rake, thus having longer cables and wirring.i know that 6" will fit,but not sure about 8".thanks for ur reply though.i appreciate it.

i switched to carlinnis with an 8 inch rise and since i ran internal wires i was able to keep the stock wires, but went with braided lines!!!!!!!!!! i am sure the stock lines would have worked
these bars i'm looking at are 28" wide, and the carlinis are i think 30or 31".do you think that they will fit outside the bars? i would gain about 2" b/c these are 28".thanks for ur help.jay.

if the bars are narrower i think it would fit no problem........how wide are the stock bars?
