i worry too about the ice and rain. if there's ice befor i go than i will have to drive it instead. if it's on the way back then i'll be staying a little longer from home. the rain is what i fear most. rain and 40's just makes for a long miserable trip.

the week of my trip is when the drought will finally be busted. figures!

yep i will be wearing full face and god willing switch to half when i get to warmer weather.

your welcomed to ride along. you could just continue south to daytona if you'd like.

i'll have to check and see if any of the atv dealers carry anything like the elephant ears.

thanks for finding the auction. i found some at dicks sporting goods for 20 bucks too. i will be buying a set for sure before i go.

i'm kicking around the idea of making me a set of eng gaurds chaps as well.

my hands and feet are what i'm worried about keeping warm and dry.
