Sticking with HD fluids.......
Ok....lets just say I wanted to stay with HD fluids in all three holes on my SG (Chances are I will be using Red Line like in my Deuce) for the 1000K service (I want the dealer to do the 1K, and I am not sure if they allow customer to bring in their own fluids). What is the best the the MOCO offers as far as engine, trans, & primary? I know my local dealer dont sell any other oils but the HD branded stuff......so if I have to stick with that, I at least want to know what ones you guys reckomend.....thanks.

I went with the Syn3 stuff at the 1000 mile service , was a $29 upcharge for all 3 holes .In future will prolly go with mobil1 v twin synthetic in the engine and redline MTL in rest..... 1st service was free with purchase of the bike .

LOL, just go with the 360 (winter so won't get too hot UNLESS you are in Fl. or Cal., dump it in another 1K and put in the same Redline you use in your other bike. Good stuff AND not made by Chavez!

Whatever gets used will get dumped after another 1.5K max anyway(so I should go with the cheep stuff.....it may even help with break in a bit more than the synthetic stuff.....didnt even think of that....I should have said the MOCO's best non synthetic stuff)......at 2500 I am switching to Red Line in all three.....or Mobil-1 in the engine and Red Line in the the trans and primary.....and I aint looking back after that.

16k on my current ride, switched to syn3 @ 1k serv.(brother of mine is a wrench and gets it on the cheap) I live in the S.E. (100 deg/99% humidity in thesummer/ 27 degrees this a.m.)and I have been accused of riding too hard, high revs/hard shifts/wheelies/burnouts etc.... and I haven't had any problem with anything.
Chavez be damned, I got other things to spend my $$ on, besides high-dollar oil.
They're all good if you keep em changed regular.
