10k check up
'06 Roadglide with the extended warranty. Bike has been serviced by the dealer from day 1. Tomorrow I'm going to ride to a couple of independent shops to get an idea what they would charge for the 10k service.
I will venture a big cost difference between the dealership and an independent shop. Are their any issues I should consider if I decide to go with the independent shop? I'm thinking about switching from Syn3 to Amsoil too.

Out here on the Other Side of the World (California).. HD Service & Independent Shops are with-in a very few $$$$ of each other on normal\scheduled services...
Issues... Just make sure they get done EVERYTHING that's on the 10K list gets done... Amsoil good choice (my 2 cents)

It will be of interest... Since I still do most all my own work... what is the 10k dealer service cost with Syn3? (to at least compare synthetic services) $450 +/- ?? Also, the Amsoil is a great choice...but I bet even the independents will up the service if it is not the synthetic oilthey carry....
