Default 2 Wheel Tunes

I haven't seen much conversation on the 2 wheel tunes system, but thought I'd check to see if anyone has any feedback on it. The following is a link to the manufacturer.

2 Wheel Tunes

I'm curious to know how it sounds at 65-75 mph and after it has been used for a year or two.

Thanks.

Just wanted to bump this post as I'm interested very much in these as well. I did a search and found an older post with the same question but no one was able to answer the question there either so I guess I'll just bump this one.

Anyone out there know of anyone with there?

I noticed the price on the TwO Wheel Tunes is 499.00 , Thats not including the Ipod or Whatever player you want to use. I would like to hear one before I spend that much on a system. It looks neat though all chrome or Black 2 inch speakers along with a amplifier. If anyone has heard one please let me know how it sounds>

You do have to know that devices such as the Ipod (except for the Shuffle) and it's main rival (the Creative's Vision "M") are practically hard disks which are affected in the long run by vibrations. They have internal components known as actuators ("needles" or "readers") very sensitive to vibrations. This kind of devices are very fragile. Not even approved for jogging.

The speakers which I personally dislike in the handlebars, are a good idea to buy or construct separately, but as for the player itself I'd reccomend something that keeps the music stored in flash cards or fixed memory chips, now those are vibration proof. Check the "Yepp" line from Samsung as an example, you just drag and drop the files to the device via USB, very cheap, small and easy to use.

Regards.

I took the plunge....unless I'm a moron, the directions suck. There isn't much to the system, but I can't figure out what the heck I'm supposed to mount the amp on. I also don't know which speaker wires to plug into which sockets.

It's not rocket science, but I don't want to cause any long term issues on an expensive toy.

I paid 399 for mine at my stealer. He was pissed I asked him to match EasternPerformance.com's price of 369. At least this way I got it the same day.

I've heard one standing still (not too bad) but never at highway speeds. A company rep was talking them up at the local dealership and showing off the newest one that has the amp built right in to a replacement riser cover. EVEN HE said that at highway speeds you'd be lucky to hear the stereo clearly. Nonetheless....I'm tempted!
