WhenI posta picture, I go to the bottom of the reply to message screen, put a check in "Embed picture in post"and click on "Click here to upload". The I select browse. When I find the picture I want to post, I put my cursor onthe picture and it will show the size of the picture. The picture can not be bigger then 500KB. If the picture is too big,I bring the picture up and downsize it to a size that will be accepted.
There are different size restrictions depending if you want to post a picture, put it in your signature or use as an avatar. I am not very good at it either, but after doing it for awhile it gets fairly easy.

I think I misinterpeted your question. When Ipost a picture (which I will do on here) it doesn't come up full size. It has to be clicked on, to blow it up. So I probably need the same info you are asking for.
