Default Looking for Apes.

Been looking for apes about
14-16” rise, 6.5” pullback, 10” center width, 32-35” wide.

It seems that every Ape bar has a pull back of at least 8" or greater. That causes me to suck my armpits back together and I don't like that feel. Totally uncomfortable on the wrists as well. Any body out there know where to find what I am looking for?

I checked HD, Drag Specialists, J and P cycles. Nothing even comes close.

You could always push the bars forward, to make them fit like you want. I have mine push forward, and perfer the look and feel. Just a thought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-ST...spagenameZWDVWthis guy says he makes custom bars, you might contact him.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ape-h...spagenameZWDVWthese have a 7" pull back.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chopp...spagenameZWDVWthese are cool looking, and have a 4" pull back
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12-ST...spagenameZWDVWthese are 12" and have a 6.5" pull back.

Kust a quick search, but you get the idea. I would make sure you know the height that you want. Meaning, ya don't wanna go to short, and wish you had gone taller. I am 6'1" and have 18". I love the height, but wish I had gone with the www.lachoppers.com***** F'ers that I let the OL talk me out of....

Default RE: Looking for Apes.

Thanks for the heads up and the links.
I just read an article that has me wondering how these people measure their bars. I didn't realize that different people measured their bars differently.

"Before we start, lets talk a bit about measuring bars.
Not every manufacturer does this the same way, so
when we see dimensions that may be the same on
paper, they don’t always produce the same bars.
Manufacturers are reluctant to adopt a uniform
measurement system, so we can’t always compare
'apples with apples.' "
