2008 HDF Get Togethers
Was any decision ever made as to the timing and whereabouts of any and all gatherings of folks who frequent this site???? If so, where and when??
Thanks, I'd like to meet some of you and plan on doing most of my riding in the Lower 48 this year.

I don't think theirs been any consensus on a National get together because of trying to pick a location. Some would like to see it in a location wear weather would be less of a consideration and others want to have it in a more central location. Their have been successful regional get togethers over the last couple of years though.

There's been talk of us meeting up again for the Gettysburg rally in August. Punisher and P-Girl organized a get together there this past August. We had about 35-40 people and we had a great time. I'm planning on being there this coming August.

The 2nd Annual SW Rally and 3rd Annual Green Chili Run is being planned as we speak. Will probably be around the 1st of June and will be scenic highways in Arizona to include the Grand Canyon. More to come.

So sounds like there is a lot of maybe and probablys, which is a good thing........ no real consensus yet though it sounds like? I hope the Gettysburg bash is in late August????

I live in NC and would love to meet all the members around here, my family owns a campground here in Statesville and we could have a meeting here our website is Midwaycampground.com go check it out and if anybody from nc or surronding area would want to meet somewhere just let me know.

Why don't we continue on with the 3rd annual get together in Effingham at Legacy's big barn bash and make this the summer get together. We have a good start on this and I do not plan on missing it in "08"...the last two years were great!! Terry has always done an excellent job here with thearrangements and festivities.
Maybe we could set up a camping area behind legacy HD somewhere. Only problem with that is there would be no pool for the after party antics......wait a minute....I'd be happy to go to wally world and pick up a back yard wader!!!!!!!!
