That is just the reason I got rid of my Kawasaki Ninja ZX1200R 183MPH, what for! But I've booked my test ride on the new XR1200, when it finally gets here.
Good idea, sure goes and corners well on the promo video but the styling could be a lot better. The pipes are iffy but that seat unit looks like a 1970s backyard fibreglass lashup. In fact it looks like my old trumpet lashup.
I'm young and I'll be riding motorcycles for many years to come. I'd buy one of these in the near future if they offered it here.
They have fixed most things I dont like about the sportster...ok the one thing....foot control placement..oh yeah..they gave it some nice suspension too!
Now if they could just make a perfect blend of the 1200 roadster(in black cherry pearl) and this XR1200......THAT would be sex on two wheels...
That said..I still want the XR1200
C'mon Harley....bring me the XR1200 to the states..so i can have a street bike to go with my dual sport bike.
much better looking than the buell which I think is a very ugly bike and is in no way harley this is aharley that will attract the younger rider bring it on......
