HOW OLD?
I have wanted one for as long as I can remember. I got divorced in Nov. 2006 and bought me a 33rd birthday present in July 2007.
And was 36 y.o. when I finally bought my first bike ever, my Dyna Superglide Custom.
Why so much delay?
I'm not ashamed to say that the only thought of riding a bike, no matter how much I liked it, scared me shitless.
Then, one day, it was while watching a tribute to Indian Larry, it simply popped up in my mind: "OhforGodssake! Grow out of it!".
May be ole Larry's soul whispered something in my ear, may be I only grew up, or had already grown out of it and just needed a nudge to go over the line, and the show provided just that (so, in a certain sense, if with "soul" we mean the imprint a man leaves in this world, and what he lived by, yes, Larry's soul whispered something in my ear
