Where do you park your bike when you go to Wal-Mart, restaurant, etc..? Has anyone ever given you a hard time about where you park your bike?

I like to park mine on the sidewalk by the bike rake.

That's what it is for ain't it?

I park mine in a parking spot just like I would park my truck. Why would anyone give me a hard time over that?

Park yours next to the curb or take up 2 spots like some rich ******* in a mercedes and I'll personally give you a hard time about it.

I also park in a regular parking spot ... sometimes would prefer to park in a spot 'closer' to where I'll be ...

If I can park in an end parking spot close to the store I park there, otherwise I park on thewide sidewalk by the store near the bike racks like Kolni. There is usually very little foot traffic there.

Right in the middle of a regular parking space, so automobile doors can't reach. Away from drivers that may have a blind spot while backing. Away from a lot of foot traffic. Preferably a spot where I can see the bike from aways. Not always possible, of course.

I try and find a good visible spot. If they can see the bike, chances are they wont pull into what they thought was an empty spot, and force me to kill them when I come out.

Usually there's oblong islands at the start of parking aisles. If it's not marked next to a handicapped spot, I'll usually grab it.
