This is exactly what anyone who provides sales or service tries to avoid....well, usually wants to avoid. They usually will try to remedy the problem before a customer starts advertising them in a negative way....this is what makes them reputable. If they are not reputable, they couldn't care less. They should try to satisfy a customer, with whatever means neccessary. If they find they can't give you what you want, they ususualy will find a way to compromise. This is the power we as patrons have. Bad news travels fast!

Just remember, they can't sue you for telling the truth.

Sorry to quibble..but that isn't what makes them reputable...doing it right the first time every time, treating people as you would want to be treated, while expecting
a fair profit from each transaction....when your community knows that your word is always your bond and that you will always follow through, makes for good repute.

There are a slew of dealerships around here that I have burned repeatedly because either they upset me personally, or tried to rob my wife..my hobby is catching places
trying to rip off a woman, because presumably she doesn't know the difference between 40000 mile and 80000 mile tires..or the difference between blinker fluid and tranny fluid...
OTOH..I have sold alot of bikes and cars to friends and family just by recommending a particular dealer...

Oh..if any of you all are in the Hampton Roads area..I highly recommend Bayside Harley..bought both my bikes there after being pissed off at the other dealers in the area..both times..

Cool man..no worries. I wasn't aware of a bike show in Somerset...where's that..the doubletree hotel? Is that this weekend as well? Hell....if that's the case, I might just go there instead. I'm only about 10 minutes from there. Definitely look forward to spring. Shoot me an email. I'm meeting a lot of cool people on this board, and some folks I run into at the dealer. Should be a cool season!
Later bud.

Just wanting the weather to break.

Yeah..I hear ya man...I'd love to be able to go during the week...but I'm all out of sick days
I'm over at Williams HD pretty much every week, so they're getting to know me pretty well. Funny thing is, I'm not the only one. I've run into a couple guys more than once over there!
I'm counting down the days until the end of March. Hopefully we can get a bunch of us Jersey guys together once the weather breaks!
