I just don't understand what I'm supposed to tell a passenger to do in a crash... I give rules to my passengers, but I don't know what I'd tell them to do in a crash situation. ???
Thanks for the tip about aiming for the hood. I hope I never need that one, but I suppose it's helpful if I'm ever faced with a bunch of stopped cars and nowhere to go. But if I have time to aim for something, it's going to be to try to miss the friggin car!!
Just one more question: you interview people who crashed and ask them if they wish they'd have worn more protective gear. What about all the people who ride for decades, wear full leathers and helmets and never crash? Interview them and ask whether they wish they'd have enjoyed the ride more by wearing less...

Do you post cause your in a contest with another member to see who can get to 1K first ? Do you actually read my post before you kick your key board finger in gear ?
Once again.....If you have no other choice and you see your going to hit the car. Aim for the hood. Who in there right freakin mind would NOT aim for something else if they had the chance ? What happens is a lot of bikers will lay there bike down. Thats not good at all. Then you hit the car and bike and take a much greater chance in getting some serious injuries. Going in a forward motion in most cases your going to be traveling about 25mph at impact. Then you fly over the bike hiting the hood which ubsorbs a lot of the energy up and not on you. then you fall to the ground in a forward motion whgich is better than into the side of a car. It's the best of a bad situation. If you know your going to eat it. At least eat as little as possible. I know a lot of people counting myself that have went over hoods and got up and walked off. I was wearing safety gear.
