Ride like a Pro

RLAP is without a doubt the best m'cycle handling video I've ever seen.
I would say an indispensible tool to have!
I watch it and practice it as frequently as possible...but probably not as much as I should.
Riding involves skills that deteriorate without some practice...
I know when I start out in the spring after the winter in New England, I'm rusty, and need to again fine tune my skills.
I feel like every ride is a learning experience, all serious, but yet fun.

I always suggest that folks work practice time into their rides. Just take 10 mins before you hit the road to do a couple of theexercises to sharpen up. That's about all you need if you do it regularly, and change them out so you don't become bored. Think of it this way, all baseball players take batting practice before the game because they don't want to step into that batters box without having been warmed up with the fundamentals. They want their skills sharp come game time. Wouldn't you want yours sharp come road time?
tell me,,,,,, with a garage/closets/basement full of trophies, numerous #1 plates,
bla, bla, bla,,, what possibly could "ride like a pro" video show me?????????
curious???
lotta hoopla to me
I found when I set up the first simple exercise "The slow cone weave" I knocked 'em all over and dropped the bike. Boy did I freak. Not only was I unable to do a simple exercise but "my baby" had fallen down!
Well I realized then that all the $$$ I had spent on chrome was a waste if I could not ride it worth a hoot.
On the RLAP V dvd there are the basics, offset cone weave, 24 foot u-turn etc. Cut some tennis ***** in half set up a 24' box and give it a shot. You'd be suprised how many folks that ride can NOT complete the u-turn. BTW - this is a requirement for your motorcycle endorsement.
At the end of the RLAP V dvd there are themotor officer course exercises. If you can complete those exercises then you can say "what possibly could "ride like a pro" video show me?????????"
Please let us know your results.
