Well, I was reading one of Mr. "Safety ****'s" posts and I got to thinking....(yes, it happens)
He talked about that if you must hit a car, that you should aim for the hood so you could role and get the least hurt. Well, thsi makes no sense to me. Why? Because you will be aiming in the direction that the cage is going! Thus incrasing your odds of HITTING the vehicle!
Wouldn't it be better to aim for the BACK of the cage so that it will be passing by you rather than towards[ you?
Sounds like common sense to me....drive away from the accident, not into it.[sm=bangbang.gif]
Common sense dictates aim to miss the vehicle. Aiming at anything is stupid. If you can aim you can aim to miss it. A person wrecks due to being unable to react fast enough so aiming to hit a hood is stipud. It the one you didnt see that gets you not the one you aim for unless your aiming to kill yourself.
Why are you reading safety trolls nonsense anyways? Even more pertinent, why are you trying to disprove his points?
No one believes a word he says anyway. You are preaching to the choir. Go start a yapperdog post or a doll thread...
Not me!! I'm aiming right for the driver!! BANZAI!!!
[sm=badidea.gif]I've done that , but it wasnt intentional . smacked an old haint right in the driver side door when she blew through a stop sign . I got a pretty good launch and some good air .managed to fly over the roof and land on the back of my shoulders completed a somersault and rolled up to a standing finish. 3500 bucks damage to the scoot and trashed my helmet and jacket. I would advise against trying this at home and encourage people to aim to miss if they have time.
my wife saw the whole thing and saidI looked like a walrus flying through the air and in the same breath said I hope you dont think your gonna ride my bike now.
