Had to wait through 9 straight days of rain back in Feb of '05 to pickup my RK Classic.
Got halfway home and it started raining again.
Flash forward to Feb of '06. No rain for weeks. The day I picked up my bike....yep it started raining halfway home.
Actually it was more like sprinkling but you get the idea.
It snowed the night before I got mine, not enough to stop me from riding it home though. Just a thought though.......the bike laid down in front of my house that day when I caught a patch of snow. Thankfully not much damage and the bike is already fixed. Just food for thought......Be Safe!
It rained on me each of the three times I rode a new Harley off the lot. It's my tradition I guess, and part of why I don't see rain as a reason not to ride. Unless the ride will be shorter that the time it takes to dry off the bike.
Snow was predicted the day I picked mine up. Dealer was 40 miles from my house. Took the trailer. There was 2 inches on snow on the ground when I unloaded at my garage. See trailers are good some times.
