Any one know of a permanet fix for sagging saddle bag lids on the heritage softail?Iv tried the metal supports but they dont work like they should. Is there any that ca be put inside the lids to prevent sagging.Any help?[IMG][/IMG]
When I bought the Heritage four years ago I asked the same. A suggestion made by someone I figured was worth trying and I would do it again after the four years of experience. I put 50 cent Wal*Mart beach ***** in the bags when not riding. They are partially inflated. Take them out if I need the storage, otherwise they stay in there. Bags still look great. Not sure how helpful it would be after they had already sagged. Nevertheless, the image is recent one from a lunch ride.
I have the complete kit from these folks. The lid supports have to be glued in which requires the bags to be removed but, it's a pretty simple install.
