Default HEAD LIGHT RING

Can anyone tell me how to get the head light ring off so I can put one of those cute light covers on. 07 EC. There is one screw in the bottom I take that out and nothing it still wont come off.

On my Heritage I pulled the screw out of the bottom and gently separated it at the bottom and it came right off. I don't have a fairing though so maybe that complicates things. Good luck.

I had to spread the bottom edges by hand on my Dyna to get mine off and the new one on. Took some effort. If it's a side to side rig, don't lose the nut.

Problem is, the bike is fighting you...it refuses to wear anything that you've described as "cute". You should try a different approach.

If you talking about the collar, the cover fits over and behind it.

Can you post a picture of this so called "cute cover" so we know exactly what your talking about?
If it is a custom chrome type bezel it goes over the stock bezel.
If it is a little visor, it slips between the headlight and the bezel. All you have to do is loosen the bezel.

All you have to do is take out the screw on the bottom and muscle that ring off there. Mine was on there tight as hell the first time I took it off.
