Don't have much of a need for in the winter here in Phoenix, but once July and August roll around, I put up the 100% cotton and wear UA.
Now if they would come out with a HD line.....
UA is pricey, butit's better than similar products you'll find in Cabela's,Pro Bass Shop, etc. Products from these companies are for warmth only. UA provides warmth, plus itwicks moisture away from your body. The athletic shorts are great fortouring. As noted above, they'll prevent monkey butt.
I see they have 3 different versions, 1.0, 2.0 & 3.0 The 3.0 is $69.95. If they do as everyone says they would be worth if you got caught in the cold on the bike. I plan to get both tops and bottoms.
I like the UA with the higher neck and zipper. Gets warmer out, I can open it up. I use the Cabela's polartec for deer hunting. Don't mind the bulk then.

I have silk and UA. Under Armor cold gear is way warmer than silk. It's not even comparable. I wear silk most of the time until the temp drops, then UA all the way.
