I'm impressed by the numbers of 20 somethings riding harley's. I certainly couldn't afford one in my early 20s. I looked at getting a dyna once, but I decided to wait until I could get what I wanted. I question(not in a bad way way) how much debt you guys are in. Do you own a house, or are saving for one? paying off college loans? Credit card debt?
Well I can't speak for anyone else but I beileve I'm in pretty good financial shape for my age. I do own a house. I own two vehicles(2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins and 2000 Hyundia Accent) still paying on truck and car is paid for. My wifeowns a car that is paid for.I do not own a credit card, nor do i plan own owning one. I paid more than half my bike down and financed it for 1 year. I am married and have no kids. Oh and my wife and i both work in the Medical field. I just thank god for giving me the ability to work so that I can afford nice things.
I made a choice too Harley payment or car payment. Decided I would rather drive a decent car and ride.
My Fiance and I rent an apartment together. I am graduating this spring but I won't have student loans to pay off. I do have credit card debt but that is from having a kid and my Fiance taking not working because of maternity leave and then the motorcycle accident. I think for our age my fiance and I are doing fine.
