Just received my shorty helmet and need to order prescription sunglasses.
I'm getting them thru Wileyx and they are going to be transitionals that get darker depending on the brightness of the sun.
Figured this was important for riding at night. They are asking if I want Brown or Grey lenses.
Someone told me that the brown defines things more.
Any thoughts on the color or prescription sunglasses would be appreciated since thier expensive and not returnable.
Thanks!
Sorry not much help here, I wear contacts, no limitations.
My dad just had to get glasses so he is having a hard time finding a pair of riding glasses he can get bifocals in.
for what's worth the grey lenses are usually called "neutral grey" because they don't affect the colors that are being seen. to sharpen visual acuity, yellow lenses are usually used. That's why a lot of shooting enthusiasts wear yellow shooting glasses. I worn the neutral grey for many, many years but it's your call.
I went with nautica's. Mirrored , dark , face fitting. My lenses are as dark as they can make them. I did not go with transitional. Found transitional to be an unexceptable. Never wore brown lenses.
