I have a Caberg Justissimo Flip-up helmet on layaway - fits great and I love the fact that it has the flipdown sunscreen and conversion to 3/4 helmet for warmer weather.
Anyone else wearing one of these? How do you like it?
Hi Annie. I use a Justissimo helmet and like you find it very versitile and comfortable. The only gripe I have with it is the vent in the chin guard rattles when in the open position, do you find that with yours. Other than that I think its great value for money. We will probably get one for my wife
I have had this type of helmet now for nearly 12 months and think its the most comfortable helmet that I have ever used. I managed to get out at the weekend a barmy 45°F here in the UK which is good for January. It was very patchy cloud and with the sun being so low it was great to just flip the sun visor up and down when needed instead of stopping to put the shades on every 20 minutes. I had the front flipped up most of the time but it got a little cold when when we blasted down the M45 at over 80 so flipping the front down made it quite warm and bareable on the face.
Who did you get your helmet from? Is there some place in Dallas to get them? The only place that I've found them is on the net and I'm a little leary of buying one I can't try on first.
The ONLY place that sells them is Moto Liberty - corner of I-35 Stemmons and Royal Lane - they are on the second floor of a little strip center on the west side of 35.
Once you try one on, you'll be hooked. They are really well designed and versatile.
I paid $325 for the one with a grey/white design, solid colors are $300. Seems like a lot until you start comparing to full-face Arai and Shoei helmets that don't even compare... IMHO [&:]
I can't wait to try mine out, but I don't have my Deluxe yet
When I finally pick her up, the whole world will know it!!!

Hi Annie, looks like an interesting helmet. You should let us all know how you like it once you've broken it in. The 3/4 helmet conversion looks real practical. So how long ya' gotta wait for that Deluxe?
Well, truth be told I'm changing jobs - the signing bonus will pay for half. Problem is, they are dragging their feet with the *$# contract. But good things are worth waiting for, right (....tapping foot impatiently)?
