Get a trailer and put the new ride in it. Drive for 12 hours south. Then you can ride.
This is exactly what we are doing the second weekend in March. I just don't want to wait any longer. Trailering down to OK, TX and AR for a 4 day weekend. And yes, the older I get the longer the winters seem to be.
Washington State here. Getting real tired of all the rain. May get a break this weekend & get out and ride. Haven't been out for a ride for the past month. Come on sunshine!!!
Yep, winter in the northeast this year sux compared to the past couple of mild winters. Heated gear hasn't helped me out much this winter since the roads have been covered by snow, ice or salt. [:@]

It's been a little harsher here than the past 10 or so winters. But still rideable, except one tortuous 15 day period of too slick to ride.
Weatherman faked me out with the forecast for today... and I could have ridden in after all[:@]. But, it's good enough that I'll go get the bike at noon and ride past the TV studio and give 'im a big ol BRAAAP at 12:15 right when he's doing the noon weather report!
Seems the older i get, the faster the time goes...Winter included..but for some reason, this Winter is dragging on at an agonizing pace. As i walk thru the garage on my way to the truck...the Bob is jumping up and down like a puppy wanting to run! I just open the door and the Ohio snow spills in and spoils the fun....and it's only February! I just hope all this rain/snow/ice means a dry Summer this year.....
