Is it me, or is this a longer winter than most.
I bought a new bike this winter cuz I ran into a good deal
Now I am getting very impatient. (Wisconsin Weather)
Does this winter suck more than most, or is it the new bike thing
It's always winter in February for Wisconsin! Are you used to winter being over by now? Check the averages for Central WI:
Seems like a longer winter than the past 4 or 5, but then the past 4 or 5 have been "pansy" winters in reality.(Speaking for Mn, only)Not that I like "any" of them, just sayin'. Winter gives me the time needed to update and change my bikes 'round. And, as bad as it sounds, this winter has provided me with a necessary amount of work that has been lacking because of the housing slump. With the sub zero temps, houses have been freezing up, causing pipes to burst, furnaces to fail, etc. Being in the HVAC and plumbing field, it has provided VERY needed work. Do not wish those problems on anyone. But one persons misfortune, is another persons food and shelter. Sort of like the downturn in the economy, not good for some ppl,has provided for GOOD deals on Harleys, good thing for some ppl. April is coming, I know, trying to get tax $$$$ together. ALWAYS makes April come FAST.
For you folks up north freezing, it turned cloudy and cool here today. Still managed to ride the bike in with temp's only in the low 60's this morning! [:-]
