Default HELP

Not sure if this belongs here but here goes. I am buying a new HD and am comparing softail deluxe and road king classic. I like the retro looks of both but am torn betwen the two due to the RK having the bags and the ability to carry "stuff". They are priced very similar and I like the looks of the deluxe better but do not really want to add bags. Are there pros and cons to each as far as ridability etc? I am primarily just going to ride locally but want to keep my options open. Any experience from owners would be great. Thank you.

You can't go wrong with either one. Pick the one that calls out to you. That said, and having owned softails and touring bikes, I like the touring bikes!

I've had a softail and now have the RKC. If you are just going to be scooting around locally, go with the Deluxe. If you intend to get on the highway at leave it all behind you, you won't beat the Road King for a nice ride.
