Acouple of years ago I had the pleasure of riding the Dragon and the Cherhola Skyway. Awesome is not a descriptive enough word! Any how while in the area I remember riding a corksrew road though I can not remember where or what road that it was. Apparently the engineers had to make a severe elevation change in a very small area so they designed this corkscrew into the road. It was freakin weird,thought you in a parking garage. Has anyone else been on this road and do you remember the location?

That sounds like route 28 form fontana to franklin. did it have rock walls jarting out on the inside and that crazy leafy vine growing everywhere ?

Not familiar with your ?. But a side note - when in Sturgis, run Iron Mountain Road. Take Needles Hwy (87) south to 16A. Follow it east and then North, it is Iron Mt. road. Multiple "pig tails" and awesome scenery. It's a first and second gear road, FUN!!!!! Good luck on your endeavor.
