Gee a HD version of the helmet would only cost 2 or 3 grand. I'll buy one for me and one for my wife. I assume there would also be a monthly fee like Onstar. On second thought, at my age if I fell off my bike, I'm probably dead anyways and someone's going to find my carcas sooner or later. On second thought, I'll keep the helmet I have now.

Not once we get a warrant!
For that very reason,any time we work a serious accident (ie, injuries that are life threatening) and accident reconstruction gets involved, we apply for a search warrant. The warrant specifically includes the wording "Any stored electronic data modules which may contain information as to the operation of the vehicle at the time of the collision".
In situations like that I support the laws right to get a warrent for that info.
What I would like is an option to turn it on/off before hand.
