Rose, hang in there. Health and other issues aside, you're fortunate to have the option to ride. Here in northern Illinois, they're talkin' about 6 to 9 inches of snow tonight. Riding won't be a consideration for at least another few weeks or more.
Did someone wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in a bad way? It's 57 deg. today as of 1:30pm, A few clowds in the sky, I do belive that I'll ride to work today.
I understand that some of you are snowed in and I feel for you.
I live in a place that I should be riding more...my point is that I can't seem to get on the dang thing. Figure it like your in spring...some beautiful days and your stuck looking at the bike in the garage because nt matter what the day is like something has stopped you from getting on the dang thing. It's like a conspiracy![:@]
Well it can only get better Rose!
Sounds like you have our typical Pacific Northwest weather down there. (Keep it awhile longer, will ya"!) It's only getting up to the low 50's here but it sure is nice seeing blue sky and sunshine for a change.
Its been GREAT hasn't it? And of course, I've been down with that whatever, that's been goin around. [:'(] Thankfully Spring is just around the corner, and earlier this year... the 19th, not the 21st.
As for the cold. No problem. Simply find a nice highway, dial the bike up to around, oh, say 80 or 90. Make sure there are no cages of other bikes behind you, and quickly turn your head to the side. It'll suck it right out!! Tissues optional.
