Heck I bought an '08 Heritage Softail anniversary in January and the only proof that I have a bike is I started making payments on it. It's sitting in the dealership warehouse 'till spring.
It sure has been great Joan! The only thing I feel coming on is 'Spring Fever!'
I hear ya... I'm so bad, I rode today regardless of a chance or rain, some wind and coolish temps. Its only gonna get better. Can't wait for the coming days when we'll have temps in the 70's and long stretches of clear skies.

RE: Why me?
Vesta (wife) and I are in the same boat as you. Bought new '08 bikes in early December and haven't broken 500 miles yet. Wife had some complications from what should have been routine surgery and is just now getting back on her bike. Another couple of months of treatments and we should be back on track. And, the weather hasn't helped much either. It just kills us to look out in the garage and see 4 Harleys sitting here! You can almost hear them crying "ride me, ride me".
I almost feel your pain. The forcast for here tonight is 9" of snow with 40 mph winds. We're having a record winter here. I have not been able to ride since November. Most winters you can get in a couple rides each month. Not this year. If I run across that Al Gore and his climate warming bs, I'll tell him to take a walk off of a short pier. That is after the lake thaws.

+1
I wonder if I can sue Al Gore because I bought the bike in Dec. with the expectation of being able to ride all year due to Global Warming.

I think my part of the snow past by me...by 10am today we were supposed to have 4"+ of snow and all we got was fog. But another round is coming end of the week. Boy was the weekend 1 big tease on everyone.
I understand though, you SHOULD be able to ride but you can't, different situation than us climate challenged. Hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be able to break out the sporty and get SOME riding.
New bike in December, 110 miles on the odometer, snow, salt, rain etc...since then. No luck for at least another month or so. Sorry but not too much sympathy
