Her 1st ride
Lena Lubashenko is her name.
Lena is a wonderful young lady from Ukraine.
Lena has served as the interpreter for Vicki and I on every mission trip we have ever made to Ukraine.
Lena finally was able to get a visa to come and visit us here, after 4 years of trying.
She came about a week ago, and is with us right now enjoying the sights and sounds of the US.
Lena has never ridden on a motorcycle...............until today.
She climbed on the back of my 02 FLHTCI today, and I fired it up.
She giggled.
I flipped up my full face front and turned around to her and said "I'm proud that your 1st ever ride on a motorcycle is on the BEST motorcycle that money can buy - a Harley".
Flipped the lid back down, cracked the throttle and let out on the clutch.
I heard another giggle.
2 hours later........she is hooked.
Arent harley's wonderful?
Better than that, isnt it good to have a wife that will let an old man take a attractive young lady for a ride?

Hey, Mikeeee, that's so cool. We took 2 Turkish sisters out for their first rides last summer... one stayed with us for about 9 months. Hubby and I taught them how to ride our dirt bikes, and they were definitely hooked, especially the more tom-boyish one that's back in Turkey now. One of them even went on one of our CMA rides!

AWWWWW so true on the things we take for granted. We complain about weather killing good riding days, when there are those that have never had the feeling of cruising at 70 with the wind in your face. Very good story and hope she gets to do it more often.
