I am a patch holder and my affiliation isnt anyones business. So here it is straight from the horses mouth.

1%ers, outlaws are "Normal" everyday men. Some have positions making several hundred thousand a year, some are common, five hundred a week kinda guys. The point is we are just normal men with a desire to be left alone so we can enjoy WHATEVER we want to.

We enjoy a deep level of commitment and dedication to each other. KNOWING you always have someone you can call/count on ANYTIME and they will be there. Not well sorry my wife or the kids have me doing Whatever, or Im tired, I dont have the gas. Most are fortunate to have 1 friend like that, I have HUNDREDS of brothers like that..

As in all walks of life you have the ones who "break the law" but that doesnt make all guilty. If it does then ALL police are crooks. They get busted EVERYDAY for Child molesting, rape, drugs, pedolphiles etc, so does that make all cops bad??? Then why does it make all bikers "Bad"??? The government and the media make you ASSUME ( *** outa U and Me) all bikers are bad. The truth is leave us alone we leave you alone. We all live in harmony.. If your interested in just "learning" about bikers but dont wanna really be a "Biker" go read a Martha Stewart book or go watch Jerry.. It isnt for everyone, but dont Judge unless you wanna be judged...

I think that everyone has the right to express their opinion. I will have to agree that there is some bad people in every walk of life and even in the LEO.

Why should it be the last post, if you don't want to read anymore, don't open the link.

I for one appreciate all of the posts, very informative and interesting, post away.

Guess what, your right. Don't read the thread if your sick of it....but guess what, I for one am sick of it, but I keep reading this thread because I keep seeing it re-appearing. I wish they would lock it cause I see a bunch of people getting excited about the thought of 1% bikers that may respond. I guess it excites some people who wish they were something they are not. I doubt any TRUE 1% would even respond to a internet chat forum as silly as this. Go read something productive like what oil to use, syn 3? Amsoil? Mobil 1? Damn I dunno. I will do my best to NOT read this dumb thread even if it keeps showing up.... I wish it would go away [:'(] Anyone have any bike news?

I'm glad someone with some sense finally chimed in. This thread was starting to sound like a cliche of a really bad motorcycling movie...

I do think there is a horrible tendency with the anonymity of the internet for people to hide behind that and talk smack about others, I guess because it makes them feel superior.
For those of us, who really have no knowlege of 'biker culture", and read threads like this to learn something, honestly, they are not exactly informative or helpful, and the bickering, and general dissing of those who are patchholders, really doesn't add anything constructive at all.
