I came up on a bike that is completly torn apart, I'm trying to figure out what is is, the engine numbers are a star RJ9C907789 star, can anybody help me figure out what these numbers mean?

Do the last 6 numbers match VIN on the frame and title?

 

no none of the numbers match.

 

Do you have a title? The moco can ID make, model, manu date from the VIN.The DMV can tell you if the bike is stolen from the VIN. Mismatched numbers sound like someone was putting a bike together from parts. its not uncommon to buy a frame then a motor, wheels etc. A clean title is important. If this is a project that someone abandoned, getting it inspected, titled becomes a hassle and expensive. Can you post some pics?

 

i have a special construction Bike from California 1997 year , with s&s angine . the number is. " BKLU ( 6 number ) " may someone know what it means ? is not easy to find the parts , no one know the number . the angine is 1340 cc Evolution 100 KW .i think 80 CI looks same like softail or dyna . please help me how to decoding the number for parts order . thanks
