Was just wondering about the quality and durability. How about security? Am I better off getting the plain throw overs instead of the zipoffs? Don't know much about saddlebags or how best to mount them. Do I need support brackets?? Any ideas or experiences would be great. Thanks.
Something to look for when buying bags........
1 style has a flat flap, that goes over the the bags opening,,, which allows weather to come in, through the ends!
the other style,,the flap is more like a lid, has sides built in, so when closing your flap,
the sides encase the opening, keeping your stuff dry!!!
bags like Willie and Max.. are Real CHEAP... stay away from them type,, thin, soak water,
loose shape, sag, SUCK the big one!
