While tracking down some unrelated information. I stumbled across some "old" MoCo files and notes.
One that I found "utterly" intriguing, was the "origin" of the idea Willie G. had in the early 70's, to combine models and "invent" (?) the FX model and series.
Seems they were at a rather large beer party on a buddy's farm up in Wisconsin.
Willie G went over by the fence to "drain" the beer, and low and behold, the idea hit him.
Take a testosterone laden, BIG minded, errogant small bike, and cross it with a rather large, slow moving, luggage laden model.
