I have just taken a look at the 2006 clothing catalogue issued to dealers for a new Leather Jacket. The one that I want is for the USA market only and will not be available here in the UK.
Does any one know of a USA dealer that would be willing to ship one to me as I am quite taken with the look of this jacket
Part Number 97129-07VM/002L Power Leather Jacket.
Most of the leathers coming over here are for the European market and in my opinion they are not to my taste and are more fitting for the sports bike market.
I will check with my local dealer. They have always gone above and beyond. If not you can purchase it and I will send it to you. I have done that with my friends to Canada. I ship them things as a gift and it gets them out of the tax thing.
This is the link to their on-line store. Enter part number at top right and hit search. 20% off most stuff all the time. I am not sure about their policy regarding international orders.
Thanks Haji4 and Ross (rh8234) I have contacted Chicago HD and they can ship the Jacket over to me no problem but I will have to wait until the summer as it is not available yet
Its great to know that there are so many on this site who go out of their way to help others
I am from the UK and I have used Adventure Harley Davidson many times. Online ordering and great delivery time. If you order from them I suggest you use the cheapest method of posting offered as they always seem to send via air, and it usually takes around a week to come. any items can be back ordered if not in stock, you can pay via paypal if required and they do not take money out of your account till item is shipped. Also, you can track your order online. Here is their website http://www.hmhd.com/webstore/store.asp
