RE: Ta Da, Winter mods are done (well almost) and the sun was shining.
Springer,
Aside from the usual painting the tins, more chrome, etc., etc. I'm still trying to decide on which foot controls and pegs to get that will go with the rest of the bike, any suggestions? This is about as far as I have been able to take it with the money I had for this winters 'upgrades'. Now the cycle starts over again, spring starts the savingsfor next winters 'upgrades'.
roadgeek,
The panel is the HD "Chrome Dash Panel Extension" HD part # 71283-01 $39.95 in the book. Cheaper from Zenotti's. I originally wanted it to replace the leather becauseI didn't like the way the leather rubbed on the tank, sucked up water in the rain, and was hard to clean. I was also thinking of getting it so I could drill holes in itto fit a mounting for my GPS, but it looks too nice the way it is. Now I gotta figure out something new for it.
