The Classic's looks are hard to beat.

ORIGINAL: UPSGUY

Road King Custom, I like the looks better than the classic or standard and Harley dropped them from their line this year so there will be less of them out there.
I like the pull back bars on the custom, I am hopeing to find one for my RK. It fits me alot better than the stock RK Classic bars.

I got the classic because of the overall looks of the bike. To me it just has that nastalgic "old school" look. The cruise control is a bonus. (I could live with it or without).
I had to think long and hard about the same question last year and it really comes down to the look. Major differences are the bags (obviously) the wheels, seat, cruise control vs no cruise, wide whitewall tires vs small white strip.

Since you asked, I like the "Classic".

What do you like? You gotta feel it in your gut. When you do, you'll know.

Or, it could be that burrito from the gas station eatery.

I went with the 08 Classic. The nostalgic looks takes you back to a different era, yet the bike has all of the modern conveniences of EFI, Cruise control, and TBW.

I got the standard bc of the lockable hard bags. i like the nice clean look. I added the cruise control with no problems.

I love my FLHR because of the hard bags and the lower maintinance non-spoke wheels.

Standard. Lockable bags and no issues of water getting in. I think it also looks nicer with the hard shiney bags.
