I am literally in HOG heaven, yesterday I overheard a lady at the dealership ask the sales girl if she could pay on her layaway, I waited till she got done and asked the salesgirl ifI heard that woman correct, and she said yes. I love it, LAYAWAY, at the Harley dealership. I got a pair of gloveson layaway now( this is the test run) hahahahahaaaaa. Oh yea, I asked the parts guy if they did layaway also and guess what THEY DOOOOOOOOOO.. TOO COOLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!MY WIFE IS GONNA HATE THIS........
20 % down and you got 60 days to get it out. It works for me, Aint gonna be puttin a bike on layaway any time soon but hey for the little things it is good. It also will give me a justafiable reason to run up to the dealership, gotta pay on my layaway.
I would wonder how many layaways are started and then not picked up ??? But hey, it does help you save, or better yet earmark some funds when you have it I guess
I was looking at the jackets at my Stealer and over heard the salesgirl talking to a customer. He wanted some $500 leather jacket, but admitted it was more than he can afford. She sugguested he put it on layaway and pay it in pieces, and he took the jacket and they left to go to the register, so I don't know anything else. I was a little surprised at first, that they offer it, but then I thought they just made a $500 sale that they probably would have lost.
