I finally got an hour or so to ride today since it has been so cold the past few weeks. It was the first time in 3 weeks that the Ultra was out of the stable.
I put on my gerbing jacket and gloves. The dual thermostat went to yellow on the gloves and then green. The jacket pretty much stayed on solid red or a blinking red. I figured that it was due to the battery pretty much being low after sitting for 3 weeks and didn't have enough amps to fire up the jacket. Am I correct????
The bike started right up, and no problems. Alternator stayed above the 14 mark all the way throughout the trip.
Thanks and ride safely
I can't remember the red, amber, green solid blinking meanings on the gerbing at this time...
I don't think that the LED color has much significance, other than to identify the different circuits. Remember, this is not a thermostat -- it just pulses the DC current at different rates to achieve your desired temperature; faster flashing is a higher duty-cycle.
