RUBS = "Instabikers" just add cash,........ buy the bike and the apparrel, ride to bars if and only when the weather is perfect. Their bikes are garage queens and also known as "Creditglides" Easily distinguishable with a 3 year old bike with less than 2k miles on it.

Please be aware that a statement like that can be misleading. I have a number of bikes and if one only has 2k miles on it, it means only that.
Gotta go with Snarly on this one... My Indian is 3 years old an only has 3K miles on it, but the Harley had 9K before it was a year old...
I use the Indian for the short runs around town and the Harley for the tours. Granted, I'm not an Iron Butt sort of guy anyway, but add them all up and I guess I do as much as most.... I'd get sort of pissed at someone that looked at the mileage on the Indian and accused me of being a RUB (hardly)...
After 39 years in the saddle, I can hardly be accused of that....

I'm siding with 55Bubba on this one. ButâŚ. Whatâs wrong with being a RUB? A bike for every occasion sounds like a rich plan to me. One bike for short rides (Starbuck coffee runs), one bike for the dirt, one bike to ride to bike Rallies (custom chopper) and one bike for touring. That would be a plan that I would want. A plan that would make others jealous and call me a RUB, I guess. BTW, Do âreal hardcore bikersâ use a computer?
[ BTW, Do âreal hardcore bikersâ use a computer?
No, a real hardcore biker would beat the h<ll out of some geek and make the geek do the whatever had to be done on the computer.
