I looked but I don't see it, though I'm sure this will be a revisit...I apologize. I have an 07 Heritage that I would like to make loud, without spending a 4 digit wad of loot. Found a set of 1 3/4 Santee drag pipes...are they small enough that the oem injection can compensate for them?
Or how about modifying the stock mufflers? This is my 35th bike, but only my third Harley bagger...I'm used to carbs, for one, and stretched swingarms on struts following a 13000 rpm hemi (old school Kaw) for another. But no matter how many times I said I wouldn't, I got old and brittle enough to appreciate floorboards and bags
i just put a set of 1 3/4 drags on mine it works great with the 190 45 set up. there the best set of pipes ive had so far. I hate D&D fatcats they drag and just suck the fun out of riding and my sampsons were nice but not as nice as these drags. put the pipes on yourself then get it downloaded at a dealer to save some money theyll have a setup for you. I dont know much about fi though they might work stock
I have Samson II, Rip Saws, on my SE Fat Boy. They are 1 3/4" OD, drag pipes. The previous owner had them installed. He also added power/torque cones at the header end. I have the SE 103" engine and it runs great with this setup. My only complaint was thevery loud exhaust.
I added Khrome Werks, HP, drag pipe baffles, which brought the sound down just a bit.

Get some slipons from ebay, or talk to an indy mechanic about what will fit and not mess with the Fi. Personally to do it right you need to get some slipons, a high flow air cleaner then a fuel management system of some type like a SERT or PCIII, then dyno tune it and forget about it.
I have an 07 fatboy, I took mufflers off and drilled a 7/8" hole through the baffels then reinstalled them. This increased the sound level to about half that of straight pipes which is what I wanted.
