I usually try and avoid rain at all costs when the temp is below 55, yesterday morning on my way home from work it was 46 and I got wet, today on my way home it was 39 and of course, raining for about 10 miles of the trip.
I guess with the late snow and gas at $3.50 a little cold rain is a small price to pay to get some miles on. Seems I get more mile hungry and crazy every year, (trying for 20K by mid Nov this year.) Before I left work someone laughed at the thought of me riding in the cold and rain and then complained that it cost them $120 to fill their truck to the next person standing there. I laughed right back and said, "I was pissed yesterday because it cost me $11 to fill my tank."
