A friend of mine bought an 07 Screaming eagle dyna in 07 with inverted chrome forks on it. He got it about mid summer and rode til November and put it away for the winter.
When he broke it out this spring ,he washed it and noticed that the chrome on his forks was flaking off .It was on the upper fork all the way down to the fender mount. What a freakin' mess, large flakes probably a 1/16" long. Talk about disgusted. This sucks,I just put a set of Marzocchi forks on my bike over the winter and I'm wondering if I didn't make a mistake.
Has anyone out there with these forks had any problems with them,or know anyone who has?????
