Dude a lighter is not goin to do it...Get a heat gun or or something of that sort of heat..when you get the thread locker hot the bolts will turn rite out.Something else is a good electric soldering iron..Takes a while though..
Very true but I'm not going to go buy a heat gun for the 1 time I would ever use it. Lighter was a source of a little heat. Didn't expect it to have results of a gun, but I don't exactly do a ton of work that would ever need a heat gun. Guess i'm just gonna let the stealer deal with it and throw in some new screws.
A heat gun is one of the many tools that, after you buy it, you wonder how you lived without it. They work great for stripping paint off a garage door. If you ever need to use heat-shrink on your wiring, the heat gun is indespensible. I use it to soften the epoxy when I have to replace a shaft in one of my golf clubs (somehow they keep breaking on me). It's a cheap item and has many many uses. And I bet this ain't the last bolt with thread locker you'll ever have to remove either!
