This is gonna hurt... but did ya know that TV broadcasts are all going HDTV-digital next February?[] And that 1/2 pound carbon battery for the old Montgomery Ward transistor radio?... it's history[&o].

Registered yesterday but I regret i won't be back to post any more. This forum is useless for people with dial up connections. Takes forever for pages to load. This effectively locks out users with dial up connections. I have better things to do with my time than staring a blank screen. It's a shame because this seems like a very good forum. It just should have been set up better.

Hell you can't do anything on the net with 56k anymore. Join the 21st century. If you're in the sticks I apologize and sympathize. It does take time some days to load.

listen, if you really want to browse, get adblock plus, and give it *.jpg, *.gif, *.png, *.jpeg as filters - you won't see any images, but you'll get the text, and it'll load faster. Or set your browser to not load images.

Well that ain't no fun!! What if he only joined to see the pictures.

Dial up? Is that in the buggy your horse is pulling. Hell, most public libraries will let you on for free if you really want to be here. Sorry you won't be able to read this until next week.
