I got rid of my dial up 2 1/2 years ago. We actually have pictures on this forum which the members want. You can't hardly do a google search with a land line anymore.

I have DSL, wireless,and broadband WWAN connections and I find the forum painfully slow also.

BUT SHORT OF GETTING BANNED, I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE !

I use T-1, Sprint EVDO, and satellite connections. This forum can be slow on even the T-1. It is definitely the slowest of the forums I visit.

For all those that are ragging the OP for having dialup, broadband connections are not available everywhere. A short distance out of some large cities, you're might be SOL if you're near the end of the phone line or cable.
